So, I haven't had a political rant in awhile. Not because things have been happy on the political front, but I've just been lazy. Yesterday was a pretty full day, especially the 9/11 Commission releasing their comment on the lack of connections between Iraq and 9/11 and Iraq and Al-Qaeda in general. This morning, the Washington Post had an article about Bush saying that he doesn't agree with the commission's opinion. WTF?!?! They go through and dismiss each tiny shred of "evidence" the administration has, and the President's rebuttal is just to reassert the same claims. Why doesn't he just stick his fingers in his ears and yell over and over again "are too! are too! are too!" while the commission says the groups are not connected.
If he were to use that method of argumentation in one of my classes, he wouldn't get his traditional "gentlemen's C."
