The descent into Madness . . . 09 March 2003 3:51 P.M.

So, today ahs been pretty good so far. I woke up this morning in time to see my beloved Kansas University Jayhawks defeat the hated Tigers of the University of Missouri. It was a very close game, with KU prevailing due to some timely/lucky 3-point shooting by their starting guards. The game was at Missouri, which is always a tough place to play. The win makes KU sole owner of the Big 12 regular season championship. Not a small accomplishment, given that the Big 12 is, arguably, the best mens basketball conference in the country. (The SEC is a close 2nd, if not equally as good, I'll admit). Anyway, as a college basketball nut, this made for a good day. March is clearly the best month in all of sports. I can't wait for March Madness to begin.
