I was out in the gas lamp tonight. It wasn't as bad as I figured. I found free street parking super close to the places we went, the birthdays girls got us on the "VIP" list at the Oynx room so we didn't have to pay a cover, and we had a place to sit at the field, where I also mangaged to stumble into a free beer. Of course, the point was to be there for the ladies' birthday, and they were happy I was there. Er, at least, they seemed like it.
