party time, excellent 21 September 2003 12:20 P.M.

Last night I went to CH&SG's for a birthday party for CH. They have a great new (to them) apartment in a huge house thet's been converted into apartments. Hard wood floors, cool looking fireplace, etc. I think the highlight of the evening was when these two Mexican street musicians (guitar and accordian) who'd been in front of the 7/11 played happy birthday and a few other songs. One of CH's friends had given the guys $10, they asked for some beer, so we gave them a couple and a few more dollars. It was very cool, and appropriate, since CH is fluent in Spanish and they played a few songs in it.
