So, an update on the previous entry. As I walked toward the shuttle this afternoon, I went down library walk, and Kelly and the planned parenthood counter-protestors were still there with their explicit pictures. Turns out, they indeed had a permanant spot as part of another organization on campus. AND, they could have the pictures because it was protected under the Miller decision of the Supreme Court in the 1970s. The lady from SOLO showed them all the parts of the California Penal Code about pornography, but failed to read the parts of the code that said, "except in the following instances (including) political statements." They'd been on the phone with the lawyer who teaches the Sex and Law class at UCSD. The lawyer had the Penal Code in front of her and the ACLU on the phone when she was advising the kids. How cool is that? Talk about a professor to write a letter of recommendation. Fuck. Oh, and this time, I grabbed some free condoms.
I mean, hey, free condoms, right?
